On Thursday, October 12, 2017, more than 400 professionals and child advocates from the tri-county area will attend The Children’s Healing Institute’s 14^th Annual “Turn on the Light” National Conference on the Wellbeing of Children and Families .   

Attendees of this premier, full day conference will have the opportunity to attend 3 of the 18 workshops being offered.  Topics range from opioid epidemic and other substance abuse issues, normal expressions of sexuality in children and suicidality- the social trends, mainstream media and prevention.  (For a complete listing of workshops, go to www.turnonthelight.org ) Attendees will share educational information, resources, develop collaborative efforts and create a productive foundation for successful networking to ensure the protection of the children in our community.
